CREATE & WRITE – do you want to?

20 Nov

Okay, so you want to write but what do you want to write?  A short story?  A novel?  Do you have your first sentence?  Do you have your characters?  Plot?  What IS plot??! Beginning? Middle?  Ending?  What about style, language, tone, theme …  Ooo errr!!   Yes – loads to think about but loads of fun too – especially if you can have someone to refer to – to seek guidance from – to get a second opinion.  Any potential writer can stumble over  ‘where to start’ and that’s something I can relate to, respond to and provide guidance for.

Seven Sessions.  Watch this space.

‘You never really understand a person until you consider things from their point of view … until you climb inside of their skin and walk around in it …’

– Harper Lee

Next session – Wednesday, 27th November

‘In fiction, plenty do the job of conveying information, rousing suspense, painting characters, enabling them to speak. But only certain sentences breathe and shift about, like live matter in
soil …’
